TRY THIS DELICIOUS TURKISH BREAD RECIPE

4 cups of regular flour

2 teaspoons of dry active yeast 1 teaspoon each of sugar and salt

1 and a half cups of hot water

1 egg (for egg wash) (egg wash)

Sesame seeds (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
The flour, yeast, sugar, and salt should all be mixed together in a big bowl. Combine everything thoroughly.

After adding the warm water, knead the dough for about 10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.

The dough should be allowed to rise in a warm environment for 1 hour after being covered with a clean towel.

In order to bake successfully, it is necessary to preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius).

When the dough has doubled in size, punch it down and cut it into 6 pieces.

Each section needs to be around 10 inches in length and 6 inches in width, so roll it out to those dimensions.

Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Eggwash the dough, then cover it in sesame seeds (optional).

Toast the bread for about 15–20 minutes.

Turkish bread is excellent, so serve it hot and dig in!
